Wanted! Your unit’s news...
Did your unit attend summer camp? Did your Cub Scout Pack hold a Pinewood Derby? Did your Boy
Scout Troop do a community service project? Do you have Scout news that you
want to shout from the rooftops?
The Sleeping Giant district wants to hear from you so we can
post your unit’s news on the Web site.
News should be sent to ironrangerosie@yahoo.com with Scout
News in the subject line. (It is very important to have Scout News in the subject line so the e-mail doesn't get lost in the shuffle.)
Guidelines to follow:
Limit your submissions to Scout-related activities.
Photos are welcomed and encouraged. Make sure all in the photo are
identified from left to right. Photos should be submitted as a JPG attachment,
not embedded in a document. Please send digital photos – don’t print it, scan
it, then send it.
Competition results should have order in which the
competitors finished, the date held and where.
Did one of the Scouts write the story or take the photo? Let
us know so we can give credit where credit is due.
Submissions are subject to approval and will be edited for grammar and length if necessary.
Previously published submissions (such as newspaper stories or photos) WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED to the district Web site.
In keeping with the Boy Scout Youth Protection Policy, Scouts will be identified by first name, last initial only.
