Dear Scouters,
I am writing this letter to inform you that with several changes in professional staffing I have been given the opportunity to be promoted to District Director of the western area of the Council. This means I will be responsible for my own region as well as managing another District Executive. I can honestly say it has been a real pleasure working with each and every one of you and you have all given me the opportunity to learn and grow.
Beginning June 15, 2010 my primary focus will be within my new service area and responsibilities as District Director. Although I will still be assisting with current district events and activities through August 1st, Jason Young, District Director of the eastern area of the Council will be your primary contact. Please find his contact information below. We are currently in the process of searching for a new District Executive to work with him.
