Family Camp at Northern Tier

 

Whether your family likes camping indoors or outdoors, Northern Tier High Adventure Base has you covered.  Bring your own tent or borrow one of the base's 2-5 man tents! If you're less interested in roughing it, a limited number of cabins are available.

Bring the whole family! $35 per person. Includes tent, food, program, patch, and a lifetime of memories. Children 5 and under are free.

Bring your own tent or borrow one of the base's (2-5 man tents available)! If you're less interested in roughing it, a limited number of cabins are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Rustic cabins sleep up to 8 and are available for an additional $50 per cabin (for the entire weekend - that's $3 per person per night.

High Adventure base staff will provide all programing, including: nature and ecology, fishing, paddling, and much more! The large voyageur canoes will be out for paddling by anyone, and individual canoes will be available, but only to those who have passed the BSA Swim Test prior to arrival at Northern Tier. Parents are responsible for bringing BSA Health History and consent formExternal Link (as per <72 hour guideline, only parts A&B required, does not need doctor's signature).

Health History forms for all participants are to be turned in at check-in, and will be returned at check-out.

Friday Night:      

                   6:00-9:00                 Check In

                   7:00-9:00                 Cracker Barrel (snacks and fellowship)

 

Saturday:          

                   7:30-8:30                 Breakfast

                   9:00-12:00               Program Blocks

                   12:00-1:30               Lunch and Rest

                   1:30-4:30                 Program Blocks

                   4:30-5:30                 Rest and Clean Up for Dinner

                   5:30-6:30                 Dinner

                   7:30                         Campfire

                   8:30-9:30                 Cracker Barrel

                   10:00                       Quiet Time

 

Sunday:              

                   7:30-8:30                  Breakfast

                   9:00                          Scouts Own

                   9:30-11:30               Program

                   12:00-1:00               Lunch

                   1:00                         Pack up and Head for Home
