Join Scouting
Be a part of the fun and adventure! Scouting provides an educational program for boys and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.
The Voyageurs Area Council serves over 290 Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops, Venturing Crews and Explorer Posts throughout Northern Minnesota, Northern Wisconsin and one-third of Gogebic County on the Upper Penninsula of Michigan and provides the Scouting Program to youth ages 6 through 20. Registration is a simple process and is determined by age or school grade.
Cub Scouts - boys age 6-10 or grades 1-5
Boy Scouts - boys age 11-18 or grades 6-12
Varsity Scouts - boys ages 14 - 18
Venturing - young men and women ages 14 - 20
Attend a Recruitment Event
Recruitment events are a great way for you to meet the leaders of Cub Scout Packs and Boy Scouts Troops serving your area and to learn about what Scouting can offer. Scout units typically host recruitment events at your local school, church, or civic center in the fall and in the spring.
Come join the fun and see what it is all about!
