Greetings,

If your troop is interested or planning on having scouts go through an OA callout ceremony at summer camp, you need to follow these guidelines:

1. Request a letter from the Lodge Adviser at least 2 weeks in advance of your summer camp session.

2. This letter will contain permission for the list of scouts you want called out to be called out.

3. This letter will be given to you with a copy of your unit election form and must be given to the appropriate people who are running a callout at your summer camp of choice.

4. After you return home from summer camp, you must submit a letter to the Lodge Adviser containing the names of the scouts who were called out and their call out date.

This procedure is required by the National Organization of the Order of the Arrow and must be followed. This will allow our Lodge to better track callouts and maintain accurate records of all arrowmen.
