Camp Newman


Well it's that time of year again and we're getting everything set for the fall conclave.

Again the prices for the event are: $15 for members that are attending, $30 for members that will be going through the Brotherhood and $45 for the new members that are coming to go through the Ordeal.

 As always we will be doing service for the council by doing projects around the camp. Plan on dealing with some wood for the camp for the winter, most likely some brushing around the campsites and maybe a few larger projects that the properties committee might have in store.

There are regestration sheets at the Scout Office and again as always we would like all to register by the 16th of Aug. so we have enough food for everyone. (Of course if you're looking at this and it's the 17th, come anyway and we'll thin out the soup)  Please pre-register.

Added 8/16/2010 - there will be several work projects going on this weekend. If you have shovels, rakes, post hole diggers, hand saws (for brush) or a large ladder. Could you please bring them with you to the conclave. Remember to have your name on them so you'll get the right ones back.
