Scouting Open House

Tuesday, October 29

Hosted by:  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

On October 29, 2013, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will host a nationwide Scouting Open House Night. On this evening, the LDS church will invite packs, troops, teams, and crews to join them as they open their doors to tell the story of Scouting in our local communities and to invite youth to join this life-changing program.

The Scouting Open House Night is part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints becoming the BSA’s first official chartered organization. That evening there will also be a national broadcast of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the BSA. It will be rebroadcast at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30.  Youth from across the council and/or district are invited to attend and join the adventure of Scouting.

This is a tremendous opportunity to share and grow Scouting. For more information, visit www.scouting.org/membership or www.scouts100.lds.org.
