A nine-member youth delegation representing each of Scouting’s programs recently visited Capitol Hill to present our annual Report to the Nation, which highlighted our achievements during the BSA’s 100th anniversary year. This year’s delegation—which was joined by host couple Ron and June Coleman of Decatur, Georgia—had the chance to present the report to President Barack Obama, Speaker of the House John Boehner, and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, who is a recipient of the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award and a past NESA president.
