Biography

Eric received his Eagle in 1975 with Troop 114 in Stillwater, MN. He became a life member of the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA). He attended the 1973 National Jamboree in Coeur d'Alene ID, the 1975 World Jamboree in Norway, Junior Leadership Training in 1975, JLT Staff in 1976. He was part of the 1600 Eagle Scout contingent for the 1976 Eagle Scout Bicentennial Exposition in Washington, DC., the 1977 National Jamboree in Moraine State park, PA as Youth Jamboree Staff and the 1979 World Scout jamboree in Sweden as 3rd Asst Scoutmaster.

Then life happened...

Eric and his family moved to the Drummond, WI. area in 2007. Eric joined troop 350 as the Asst. Scoutmaster and Troop Committee Chairman. His Sons joined the Troop and Pack. His Oldest Son, Stephen received his Eagle in 2010. His son Matthew spent 2014 as Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 350 and received his Eagle Scout award in December of 2014. Eric's Wife, Christine, is the Troop Advancement chair.

In 2009 Eric attended the Voyageurs Area Council Wood badge C-04-09 course. He was elected the Wah-Da-Bong District Chair. 

Eric was Asst. Scoutmaster for the 2009, 2010 and 2012 Voyageurs Area Council National Youth Leadership Training Staff. 

He received the District Award of Merit in 2010. 

He joined Ka'Niss Ma'Ingan Lodge in the Order of the Arrow as an Ordeal member.

Eric was the Voyageurs Area Council Jamboree Coordinator for the Centennial Jamboree at Camp AP Hill in Virginia and attended as National Staff. He was on Wood badge Staff as a Troop Guide for the Voyageurs Area Council in 2011 at Camp Chicagami near Eveleth, MN for course # C1-286-11-1.

He received his Brotherhood in the Order of the Arrow

Eric served on the Council Executive Committee as the Council VP for Impact and Participation for 2011-2013.

He attended the 2012 National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) with the Ka'Niss Ma'Ingan Lodge contingent at Michigan State University.

In 2013 Eric was elected as the Council VP for Leadership Excellence and Culture

Eric received the Silver Beaver Award from the Voyageurs Area Council in 2013.

In 2013  & 2014 Eric attended the National meeting in Dallas, Tx as the council representative.

Eric served as 1st Asst. Scoutmaster for Voyageurs Area Council at the Summit in West Virginia.

He has been a Scoutmaster at Tomahawk Scout Reservation with Troop 350 each year since 2008.

Eric received the Vigil Honor for the Order of the Arrow in 2014.

Eric was on the 2015 Wood Badge staff for course C1-286-15 as the Asst. Scoutmaster in charge of Technology.

In June of 2014 Eric came on board as the BSA Central Region Area 1 Advancement Chair.

Eric will represent Voyageurs Area Council at the 2015 annual BSA meeting in Atlanta as its voting member.

Eric is one of the Adult contingent leaders for the 100th Anniversary Order of the Arrow NOAC event at Michigan State University.

Eric is now the Central Region Area One VP of Membership.

He will be the Council voting representative to the 2017 National Annual Meeting in Orlando.
