FALL CAMPOREE

Fall Camporee, Voyageurs Area Council, Northern MN, WI, and MI, co-ed, Scouts BSA, webelos

Scouts BSA Troops team up with their partnering Webelos Dens for a weekend of Scout skills and fellowship at Fall Camporee! This is a chance for Webelos to see Scouts BSA activities in action and gives the Troops an opportunity to showcase the next steps on the Scouting trail.

Join your fellow Scouts BSA Troops, Crews, and Posts for a Saturday of competition, Scout Skills, and Fellowship during one of Voyageurs Area Council’s Klondike/Beargrease Derbies! The Derbies are a great way to get Scouts outside and participating in program during the winter months.

SPRING CAMPOREE

Spring Camporee, Dutch oven cooking, voyageurs area council, northern MN, WI, MI, co-ed, Scouts BSA

Scouts BSA Troops team up with their partnering Webelos Dens for a weekend of Scout skills and fellowship at Spring Camporee! This is a chance for Webelos to see Scouts BSA activities in action, giving Troops an opportunity to interact with Webelos who may be transitioning into the Scouts BSA Troop, and prepare them for Summer Camp.

MERIT BADGE OPPORTUNITIES

Chess Merit Badge, Merit Badge Day, co-ed, voyageuers area council, northern MN, WI, MI

Voyageurs Area Scouting continues to work to connect partner organizations with Scouting volunteers to offer Merit Badge opportunities throughout the year. Using the Merit Badge program, program partners engage youth in a deeper understanding of a vocation or hobby tied to their mission and purpose as an organization.

DISTRICT PINEWOOD DERBY

Northern Lakes District Derby, Bemidji, MN, Voyaguers Area Council, VAC-BSA, co-ed, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, pinewood derby

District Derby events bring everyone together Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA alike to race their official pinewood derby car!  Boundary Waters District allows the public to race their BSA approved cars for $5 at the Scout Expo every April in Virginia at the Uptown Mall.
